Frankincense: This is one of my go to oils. Since it isn’t cheap, I try to grab one whenever it goes on sale. This oil is relaxing and grounding, which makes it perfect for diffusing during yoga or meditation and adding to your favorite bedtime blend. It also does wonders for your complexion! Add a drop to your favorite moisturizer or it with rose water for an easy DIY toner.
Thieves: This powerful blend is immune system support in a bottle! I diffuse it every day in my classroom (add a few drops of Orange for a delicious, fall-inspired scent). Keep this bad boy on hand at all times.
Lavender: Known as the swiss army knife of oils, there’s nothing lavender can’t do. Apply directly to burns, cuts, or scrapes. Lavender has a clean, floral scent that promotes relaxation. Add a few drops to epsom salts to unwind after a long day. Diffuse equal parts Lavender and Peace & Calming (also on sale) to promote restful sleep.
Valor: This is my favorite essential oil, hands down. I keep a bottle at home, a roller bottle in each purse, and another roller bottle in my desk at work. If I’m wearing a diffuser necklace, chances are it’s covered in Valor. This blend gets it’s beautiful blue hue from Blue Tansy which is combined with Black Spruce, Frankincense, and Geranium to promote relaxation, tranquility, and balance. See, we all need some.
Lemon: I keep Lemon Vitality in the kitchen at all times to add flavor to my favorite dishes. Add a drop to a cup of tea, lemon cookies or cake, or any salad dressing/marinade. You’ll love to splash of brightness it adds! As an added bonus, Lemon oil removes the sticky residue from stickers or labels like magic.
Christmas Spirit: This affordable oil makes a great Christmas gift addition. Despite the name, I diffuse it all the time and it is a regular star in my DIY room sprays. Orange, Cinnamon, and Black Spruce create a perfectly balanced aroma that will warm your heart and make you smile.
Rose: I’m not going to lie, this is the most expensive oil Young Living has to offer….but if you’re going to buy it (it’s worth it, I promise), do so when it’s 20% off. This bottle will last forever. Add 5 drops of Rose to a 10ml roller bottle and top with carrier oil for a portable perfume. Add a drop to your favorite facial oil or toner for a spa-like experience.
